Gaither Family Resources invites you to our
Annual English Tea. This year we welcome Christian comedienne
and speaker, Rita Morrow, from Amarillo, Texas. Rita will
delight you through her rich blend of comedy, music, and
inspiration. Born and raised in the Deep South, Rita
instinctively draws on her colorful, southern upbringing whether
speaking straight from the heart, or portraying any one of her
whimsical, comical characters, not the least of which is the
zany but loveable Martha Marie. Truly a character in
every sense of the word, Martha Marie will dish out a
laugh a minute through her twisted logic and stream of
malapropos through word and song.
Sherry Erskine, local teacher, will take us on a nostalgic
stroll down memory lane to bring back the memories of the
stories that our mothers and grandmas’ aprons could tell.
Do you own an apron – yours, your
mothers or grandmothers’? We invite you to wear it to the tea.
Gaither Family Resources promises you an occasion to remember
with elegance, nostalgia, entertainment, a delightful brunch and
delicious tea, of course. Seating is limited.
